Welcome to RVEXPERIENCE.US! My name is Bill Pinchak, the founder of this site dedicated to all things related to Recreational Vehicles.

Vehicles, construction projects, repairs, and teaching have always been my passions. I grew up in upstate New York, where my brother Peter and I ran an automotive repair, body shop, and sales business in Auburn. Our mom worked as the head of faculty secretaries at the Cayuga Community College, while our dad was an exceptionally talented carpenter. I met my wife Karen, an RN, at a friend's birthday party, and together we have two wonderful children.

In 1990, I accepted a job with Foremost Insurance in Florida, which Farmers Insurance later acquired. Over the years, I've held numerous job titles and discovered a unique niche in RV claims, where I could share my passion with RV owners and make a real difference. For many, an RV represents freedom and adventure, and I was fortunate to support that passion through my work. I led the RV damage and injury claims groups in the US for many years, collaborating with Claims Finance, Legal, Product, Underwriting, Regulatory Compliance, and Marketing teams, as well as with RV manufacturers, suppliers, repairers, and dealers.

My career has never been confined to my job description. Some of my side projects include building an RV Claims Estimating database, creating RV Parts Catalogs, developing an RV Claims Training Program, establishing a national RV Approved Repair Shop network, and partnering with LDV to build Mobile Command Centers on an H3-45 Prevost Bus Platform for catastrophe response. Additionally, I promoted a national RV Courtesy Inspection program and served as the Claims subject matter expert on the Motor Home and Travel Trailer policy rewrite team.

After leaving the insurance industry in the fall of 2023, I felt a strong need to share my knowledge with RV owners, manufacturers, vendors, repairers, and insurance professionals. Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with exceptional people both within my company and in various fields.
